Welcome to Eyes of Power Trauma Care !
I'm D'Sheene, also known as Leoline. I specialize in identifying hidden trauma and helping to reduce the risks of re-traumatization. I’m excited to have you here and look forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with you.
After attending numerous Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and depositions during my lawsuits, I realized how stressful and emotionally draining the process could be. Throughout this experience, I had to learn how to manage my emotions effectively, ensuring that my trauma did not influence my responses during the litigation process.

I Love Helping Lawyers And Their Clients
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with numerous personal injury lawyers and their clients as an Independent Medical Examination (IME) consultant. During this time, I have witnessed the emotional challenges that clients faced when recounting the details of their accidents while responding to questions from the defendant's doctors.
Recognizing that I could make a greater impact, I decided to launch the Eyes of Power Trauma Care company.

**Litigation, Clients, and Trauma**
The litigation process can be lengthy and overwhelming for both clients and attorneys, often leaving clients struggling with the effects of retraumatization. Consequently, they may miss important appointments such as Independent Medical Examinations (IME), No-Fault Examinations (NFE), Defendants Medical Examination (DME) sessions, depositions, and even the trial itself. These behavior patterns can benefit the defendants and diminish the potential financial recovery for the plaintiffs.
As a personal injury lawyer, you frequently work with traumatized clients. This role involves reviewing their medical records, sometimes examining graphic images, and devising strategies to maximize the value of each case. Such a demanding workload can lead to desensitization regarding clients' injuries over time. The challenges of dealing with catastrophic injuries, clients, and trauma are significant. Each injury is unique to the client, and the impact of trauma varies from person to person.
Research indicates that lawyers who work with traumatized clients can experience secondary trauma, which may ultimately affect them both personally and professionally.
